Apple has started selling refurbished iPad mini 6 and M1 iPad Pro models through its Certified Refurbished store in the US. Both these tablets launched in 2021.
Depending on the iPad you want, you can save up to $100 by buying a refurbished unit.
Save big on refurbished M1 iPad Pro and iPad mini 6
Prices for the iPad mini 6 start from $499. If you go the refurbished route, you can get the entry-level model with $80 off and pay only $419. Apple’s online store currently has refurbished 256GB iPad mini 6 units in stock for $549. This is a sweet $100 lower than their MSRP.
As for the M1 iPad Pro, you can save up to $230 depending on the model you want. The entry-level 11-inch iPad Pro with 128GB storage is available for $639, making it $110 cheaper than its retail price. Similarly, you can save $130 on the 256GB storage variant if you go the refurb route.
Some cellular variants of the 11-inch iPad Pro are also currently listed for sale for up to $140 off. The 12.9-inch M1 iPad Pro is available with bigger savings of up to $320 in Apple’s refurbished store. You can get the entry-level Wi-Fi model with 128GB storage for $889, saving $160. The refurbished 256GB model is available with savings of $170.
Certified refurbished iPads are almost like new
If you don’t need the M2 iPad Pro, buying refurbished M1 iPad Pro units directly from Apple makes a lot more sense. You can use the money saved towards the Magic Keyboard, Apple Pencil, or another useful accessory for the tablet.
